Artist Shinji Murakami, uses his love of 8-bit video games, simple lines, and original characters as a springboard into his own exciting world of story telling. In 2003 Shinji began creating the 8-bit map works and the street art, and is now working on a "3D-8Bit" sculptures that give physical form to a flat 8-bit images produced since 2009.

大好きなファミコンのような8ビットの表現と、シンプルなライン、そしてオリジナルキャラクターによって作品を制作。　２００３年、８ビットのマップ作品とストリートアートをスタート。　そして２００９年より、平面のドットイメージを立体化する「３Dドット」シリーズに取り組む。
